The economy & where it is going

Does anyone else wonder where we will end up with the economy going the way it is? I look around and there are so many businesses that now sit empty, so many houses with for sale signs on them. Each time I go to the grocery store I find higher prices, and there is absolutely no job market. I honestly have to wonder where we will end up if things do not change soon..
